Frequently Asked Questions
Wait...a Christian LAN?
Well, sort of. We’re seriously stoked if you’re interested in coming regardless of what you think about the church or religion in general. In fact, we consider it a privilege that you would join us. During the event, there is a short talk called “Story Time” where we give a challenge for Christians and non-Christians alike.
What if I don't have a PC?
If you’re just interested in checking out the action, just come and join us! If you don’t own a computer, hit us up on Discord to see if there’s perhaps a loaner you can borrow. We typically have loaner PCs available to rent as well.
Why does it cost money?
Every event we host at Forge Gaming has underlying costs, which we try to keep to a minimum. The cost of entry helps us defray incurred costs like food, beverage, network and server infrastructure, power equipment, power cables, network cables and door prizes.
Overnight LAN?...Where do I sleep?
We have separate rooms for guys and gals to sleep in, some people end up falling asleep at their seats, or not sleeping at all! We try to have dark rooms for guys and gals respectively away from the main event area that you can set up a sleeping bag or inflatable mattress to sleep on. If it’s comfy, go ahead and bring it!
